What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including invoices, bank transactions, travel expenses, and other financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely posting in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers, ensuring full compliance with tax and labor legislation.
• Assist in preparing internal and external financial statements, management reports, and regulatory submissions required by supervisory authorities.
• Provide detailed financial data, including income calculations, commissions, expenses, taxes, and interest calculations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, assist during internal and external audits, and collaborate closely with auditors.
• Collaborate closely with a talented Risk Management team in a collaborative environment to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
• Handle supplier communication, perform account reconciliations, and manage broader accounting tasks such as journal entries, provisions, and accruals.
• Support VAT, corporate tax, statistical, and other mandatory reporting obligations.
• Contribute to finance-related projects, system improvements, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management in line with the scope of the role.

What you'll bring

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in an international or highly regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (professional certifications such as ACCA or similar are considered an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP) and understanding of tax and labor regulations.
• Work experience with NAVISION and RIVILE programs would be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and expense processing.
• Experience with payroll coordination and collaboration with external service providers is an asset.
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting audit processes.
• Good understanding of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian; additional languages are an advantage.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
