What you'll do
- Review, record, and validate daily invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing within established deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and partners to identify discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues.
- Contribute to daily accounting operations, including invoice processing, reconciliation of bank statements, management of employee travel expenses and business trips, preparation of sales invoices, and related activities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and maintaining internal controls.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of customer ledgers and preparation of balance confirmations.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes by submitting accurate and timely documentation.
- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline and enhance accounting processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- Skills and knowledge to orientate in the general market situation of the industry.
- Strong communication skills and cooperation skills with team and colleagues, partners, business partners.
- Have professional English language skills (any additional foreign language is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Ability to cope with a very dynamic environment and rapid changes.
- Willingness to be self-sustainable at times and ready to show initiative.
- A positive attitude and show readiness to #do.it.right.
