What you'll do
- Conduct thorough analyses of operational processes to identify potential risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay up to date with relevant financial and regulatory authorities’ regulations, ensuring our services comply with local and international laws, particularly in the European market.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new products or services, ensuring they align with risk management standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on risk assessment findings and recommendations, maintaining comprehensive documentation for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and update necessary risk management policies and procedures in accordance to changing legislations and best industry practices.
- Prepare various company-wide trainings on identification and management of risks, incident management and other related topics.
- Work closely with various departments, including legal, product development, and customer service, to communicate risk policies and integrate risk management practices throughout the company.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Risk Management-related qualifications (e.g. CAMS, ISO, ICA or other certificates) would be a benefit.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in risk management, preferably in the fintech or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of European financial regulations.
- Experience in working with VISA and Mastercard regulations, etc.
- Experience in anti-money laundering and counter terrorist's financing, fraud prevention transaction monitoring.
- Experience of working with complex customers such as financial institutions, gambling, IT/Software, Marketing, or forex clients.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex cases to the Direct manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex transactional data.
- Knowledge of AML regulations, KYC principles is advised.
- Fluency in Lithuanian, professional English language skills (any additional foreign language is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Strong attention to the details.
- Ability to cope with a very dynamic environment and rapid changes.
- Willingness to be self-sustainable at times and ready to show initiative.
- A positive attitude and show readiness to #do.it.right.
