What you'll do

• Take full ownership of the design and implementation of our data warehouse, from initial conception and architecture to ongoing maintenance and optimization.
• Develop and maintain processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for various teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other peers and backend engineers to integrate data from various sources and support their data-driven initiatives.
• Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching and evaluating new data technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and scalability of our data infrastructure.

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of proven experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
• Expert-level SQL skills with experience in data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar.

Bonus points

• Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices for data security and privacy.
• Proven ability to handle and process large volumes of data efficiently.
