What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence within the Engineering team.
• Drive technical decision-making and architectural discussions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure successful product development.
• Implement and optimize engineering processes, promoting efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Champion best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and evaluating new technologies and trends.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in an engineering management role.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with modern software development tools and technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic FinTech environment.
• Bonus: experience in the FinTech industry.

We also utilize AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, and CDK, along with Redis and more.
